John is a true New Orleanian, through and through. His passions for his city led to a career spanning 35 years serving on the New Orleans Police department. His love of athletics began at the age of 8 where he played baseball in the summers through the N.O.R.D. program. This experience eventually earned him a baseball scholarship in high school. He received a BA in criminology, and minored in kinesiology and psychology from Loyola University and continued his love of sports as a 4 year letterman in varsity football.
To stay fit, John played both semi pro and league softball after college and continued weight training to improve his endurance. Over the course of two summers, John lost over 70 pounds, and realized the importance of staying active to achieve one’s optimal health and well being.
While on the police force, John became a client of the Super Slow training method, and was so taken with the results that after 4 years, he became a certified Super Slow trainer himself. He has continued training after his retirement from the N.O.P.D .now for 15 years. Through his personal experience and passion for helping others achieve their own goals; John is able to retain his clients for the long term and is proud of the fact that some have been with him since day one.
He has successfully helped a wide range of clients needs. From those with pre and post operative knee replacement and shoulder surgeries, to high school athletes wishing to increase their strength, endurance and performance, to those who simply wish to improve their fitness level at any age. Johns no nonsense, no judgment approach helps each of his clients become the best they can be. And that he says, makes his day!READ TESTIMONIALS
